Today ,I feel very exited, writing my first blog.Although I am still learning about it.

Since my childhood I have been a very keen observer of politics,current affairs and sports and understandably I wanted to write blogs on current affairs (although political discussions still remains my forte ) to express my opinion and engage in fruitful discussions.

It has been a very hard going for the UPA govt. led by the congress. The wave of scams coming to light has shaken the whole nation.Be it the 2G scam(father of all scams),spectrum allotment scam(involving ISRO-which till now enjoyed a positive image),ipl scam,CWG scam etc. Congress is finding it very difficult to distance itself from these scam and project itself as a holy cow. Congress tried to shrug off A Raja's involvement by crying coalition compulsions but now congress has to answer on the shop allotment scam involving its parliamentary affairs minister. Congress in past has tried to bury these corruption issues by just asking the resignation of the involved.Be it MOS external affairs Shashi tharoor or the Maharashtra CM Ashok chavan. The culprits need to be punished rather than being allowed to sit in safe heavens with piles of tax-payers hard earned money.I have been a strong supporter of Dr singh .He is a self made ,determined man. and rightly so was named as the world's best leader and "a leader who the other leaders admire" by the Forbes magzine. But these scam taking right under his nose and to say he knew nothing about it raises many eye-brows .Although I am still great admirer of him and it would be very wrong on my part to raise doubt over his credibility. some people have said that although he was not a beneficiary but allowed to happen because of party and coalition compulsions.But I am still not ready to take any of this. It could be that Dr Singh trusts his aides a lot and they took him for granted .

Well we can just say that it has been a tough going for the Dr Singh lead govt. and with the Wiki bomb being dropped over the southern politics and With the Tamil nadu going to polls this year its just the beginning of an eventful year.
